17+06+07 ++ the pure evil trio cd is out now and available either thru me or direct from the band + it's another fantastic addition to the tenzenmen catalogue. the pay colour cd should be ready next week after a few delays. i got back from china a week or so ago and if all works out will be helping out on some tours for chinese bands here in the future. also looking at ways to get bands over to china to play cheaply too. loads of shows in the pipeline for the pitz and as ever whole bunches of crazy ideas going through my mind awaiting execution or soon forgotten!

20+07+07 ++ bad news is that pitz is on hiatus for a few months at least, maybe for good. we just have to see how things work out. the cool and unusual mailing list is changing too as i'm not sure who is on the list and what they may be doing with the information. the new list is by invitation only + so now i have a bit of spare time i bought some pedals and a guitar and i'm going to make some noise somehow. maybe in public! + you can download full tenzenmen releases via the catalogue page plus some distro samplers too + there's an awesome new submission for 2020 which i'll put online soon and there's talk of more being ready soon

15+10+07 ++ another great trip to china visiting d22 in beijing and bringing back lots of great chinese music for the distro. check it out. it's cheap! if you join 2ser during their radiothon you have a chance to win one of 15 tenzenmen prize packs. the night crash 12" is being pressed right now + it's some insane piece of plastic. artwork is being worked on and hopefully the whole thing will be ready sometime in november.

13+01+08 stale popcorn returns with screenings of the five 'brave new films' dvds at mgtvle starting on thursday feb 14th and each thursday there after + the first show of 2008 looks to be a cracker with hee haw, ojcs, pay colour and death mattel at la campana on wed 16th jan + things in the pipeline include a crux/pazahora split cd and an accompanying tour of south east asia + vialka may return in may + the night crash 12" will finally be launched on jan 19th in brisbane and the scul hazzards 7" will be out in time for their tour in feb + both essential releases!

04+03+08 i'm messing around with the site including the australasia diy tour circuit forum. there might be a few funny looking pages from time to time but functionality should all be ok. let me know if there's any problems! i've gotten more involved with wednesday nights at la campana (as well as some monthly sunday nights due to start later this month) and also helping out with an upcoming tour (more news soon) as well as, yet again, having crazy plans for various japanese bands to get here next year. stay tuned.

10+04+08 the australasia diy tour circuit has been upgraded. not quite as pretty as it used to be but a lot more functional from an admin perspective now.. there will be a comic book release on tenzenmen! from the hard ons ray ahn! this should happen fairly soon (but you know what it's like dealing with musicians!). ampere will play dirty shirlows in june, which will be just after i leave for another trip to china (also via malaysia and singapore). i hope to pick up some cool new cds to distro when i get back.

14+07+08 i came back from china and south east asia with a slew of new stock. so much that i haven't had time to sort thru it all yet. the crux/pazahora cd is out now! a bunch of people were busy glueing them altogether whilst i was in KL. i finally got to hear the recording too and it's great. crux got described as wagnerian by a new fan in malaysia. pazahora slayed at their shows and this recording lives up to that ferocity. should have more news about new releases soon.

28+08+08 the maybe mars series of monthly releases from chinese underground bands gets under way in this olympic month with demerit's bastards of the nation cd. every month we'll be bringing you the latest and most exciting releases from china and available in all good record shops. look out for releases from carsick cars, pk-14 and many more! also all the new stock i brought back from asia is in the distro section now so check it out + it's all cheap!

09+10+08 the beautiful and amazing carsick cars cd is out and will be available in all good record stores soon. the second in the maybe mars series of new chinese music is a delicious taste of sublime noisy indie rock sure to please your ears and the price is still set to suit your pocket! the distro continues to grow and grow so a bunch of things have been reduced. i think i'll have to start to categorise everything by country or genre or something. locals hira hira have just finished their first recording and will release it as part of the tenzenmen catalogue which is exciting cos this band has great songs. look ouf for it in the next few weeks. uk's war all the time will be here in november to rip the place up too.

16+02+08 what's been going on!? ok, this year no shows, probably no tours. instead i'm working hard on getting the maybe mars series of chinese bands releases to break even! the pk-14 cd came out at the beginning of the month and is so good that i can't tell you really just how good it is! if i could just get folks to hear it on the radio then people would realise! call your local community stations and ask them to play it! next release in the series is ourself beside me, a 3 piece band in the style of slits/post punk and it's another goodie (what else am i gonna say!?). probable website design update coming in the next couple of months. also the distro will change focus and just concentrate on the australasia region so hit me up for anything from europe and the u.s. as i want to get rid of it!
